Presidents Day Picnic

Join us for patriotic family fun at McLeod Park with field day activities, hot dogs & soda! Stop by the Museum to learn how many US Presidents have visited Everglades City! 

Annual Marjory Stoneman Douglas Luncheon

 Tuesday   -   February 18   -   11am to 1 pm

Join the Friends of the Museum at Everglades Isle, featuring guest speaker “River of Grass” filmmaker Sascha Wortzel. $20/person, reservations required. Call (239) 252-5026 to reserve.

Everglades Expo

Wednesday   -   February 19   -   10am to 2 pm

 Join us as organizations, artists, authors, historians, guides, and gladesmen gather at the Museum to share the wonders of Florida’s last frontier, kicking off with Otter John’s Everglades Wildlife Show at 10:00 am. Everglades Expo continues until 2:00 pm. 

Third Thursday Double-Header

 Join us for historic presentations as part of our popular Third Thursday series. Seminars at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm will explore pioneer life in the 10,000 Islands and the Black History of the Everglades City area.
