t all started with grapefruit when Barron Collier bought the citrus grove at Deep Lake from John Roach, a streetcar owner from Chicago who had also introduced Collier to the island of Useppa.
Join us on the evening of Friday, March 22, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. for a fun celebration at the Museum. There will be live music thanks to the Jack Shealy Band, delicious refreshments, and samples of the famous fruit.
There is no charge and everyone is welcome. The event takes place in the Museum parking lot so bring a chair
